Santa Rosa County, Florida Selects TaxSys®

Grant Street Group, the leading provider of web-based tax collection software in Florida, announced today that the Santa Rosa County Tax Collector has signed a contract for a comprehensive suite of tax collection software. This includes TaxSys® a state-of-the-art, web-based tax collection and billing system; LienAuction® for online tax certificate sales; and PaymentExpress®, a full service payment processing solution for credit cards, debit cards, and e-checks.
Santa Rosa County will become the 20th Florida County Tax Collector’s Office to switch to TaxSys since the system was launched in 2006. The eight month conversion to TaxSys began in August 2014, with an anticipated completion date in March 2015. Grant Street’s PaymentExpress service for online e-payment and over-the-counter payments will also begin in March 2015.
This past spring, the Tax Collector’s office successfully concluded its annual tax certificate sale using LienAuction. Of the 5,821 tax certificates offered for sale, 4,519 were purchased for $4.3 million in delinquent property taxes – a collection ratio of 97%.
