December 14, 2021 (Green Cove Springs) — Today, Grant Street Group announced the Clay County Tax Collector’s Office has successfully completed the implementation of PaymentExpress, Grant Street’s electronic payments processing service. Over 219,000 residents call Clay County home, including those living in the cities of Green Cove Springs, Orange Park, Middleburg, Fleming Island, and Keystone Heights.

The Tax Collector will use PaymentExpress to facilitate online payments, along with in-person payments at four office locations: Green Cove Springs, Bear Run, Park Avenue, and Keystone Heights.

“Making payments easy, reliable, and secure for the citizens of Clay County is one of our office’s main priorities,” said Diane Hutchings, Clay County Tax Collector. “PaymentExpress has streamlined our payment experience with an easy to use payment lookup and customer profile feature for saving payment methods, in addition to a robust administrative console for our staff.  Grant Street has been an absolute pleasure to work with on this project.”

In addition to PaymentExpress, the Tax Collector went live with RenewExpress®, Grant Street’s online vehicle registration renewal system, and ExpressLane– allowing customers to renew online and pick up their registration the same day at the Tax Collector office of their choice. The Clay County Tax Collector will also move to Grant Street’s cloud-based tax collection and billing system, TaxSys®, next year. The implementation begins in February 2022 with a scheduled go-live in September.

“Ms. Hutchings is laser focused on making improvements, at a quick pace, for the citizens of Clay County and her office operations,” said Craig Phillips, Florida Business Development Manager. “We applaud her actions and look forward to serving her and her dedicated team of professionals at the Clay County Tax Collector’s office.”
