How we hire

At Grant Street Group, we have a thorough application and interview process. We look for people who are eager to learn, excellent at problem solving, and thrive when collaborating in teams. While each position has a unique recruiting plan, you can generally expect an initial application and three or four rounds of interviews starting with a call with our HR team or a live skill challenge with our technical team.

Interview stages

Step 1

Application

Each role first requires an online application and resume submission via our current opportunities page. Some positions may also include assessments, such as a coding challenge, logic challenge, or writing exercise, in order to complete the application. We believe you are more than just a resume, and completing these exercises is a great way to make your application stand out!

Step 2

HR Call or Code Live

During this 30-60 minute interview, you can expect a deep dive into how you problem solve, projects you’ve worked on, and your interest in Grant Street Group. We want to give you the opportunity to highlight your unique talents and experience while demonstrating your ability to communicate technical or specialized subject matter clearly and concisely. Technical roles complete a 45-60 minute live skill challenge conducted by members of our technical team.

Step 3

Video Interviews

Applicants for our different jobs participate in a combination of the interview types outlined below.  We work with you to schedule these video calls at times that are convenient for you.  Most of the interviews will be conducted in a block of time on one day, a process that generally takes about 3-4 hours.
