September 14, 2021 (Jacksonville, FL) — Today, Grant Street Group announced the Duval County Tax Collector’s Office has successfully completed its transition to TaxSys. Over 950,000 residents call Duval County and the City of Jacksonville home. The County also encompasses the cities of Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, and Baldwin.
The transition to TaxSys replaces the County’s previous tax collection system with a modern cloud-based system. The Tax Collector’s Office also moved to Grant Street’s PaymentExpress solution as its new payment processing platform, which is fully integrated with TaxSys, and interfaces with City of Jacksonville applications for a centralized, all-in-one customer experience.

The conversion included several other services from Grant Street’s tax collection suite:
- Centralized portal for delinquent tax services including the annual tax certificate sale
- Online vehicle and vessel registration renewals
- Online business tax account applications and payments
- Online tourist development tax filing and payments
- Integrated data analytics
