FORT BEND, TX — It was announced today that the Fort Bend County, Texas Tax Assessor-Collector has officially gone live with PaymentExpress® as its new payment processing system.
Home to nearly 800,000 residents, Fort Bend is the tenth most populous county in the Lone Star State and one of the fastest-growing areas in the country.
Fort Bend’s successful implementation of PaymentExpress makes Grant Street’s entrance into the Texas government payments market official. The implementation began in August, following a competitive procurement process.

Using PaymentExpress, the Fort Bend Tax Assessor-Collector will be capable of accepting all major debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) for payments online, via mobile or tablet devices, and in the office. E-check payments will also be available online.
