DENVER, CO — The City and County of Denver held a $117 million bond sale on Grant Street Group’s MuniAuction platform yesterday, as part of an ongoing funding initiative for the Elevate Denver Bond Program. Twelve firms submitted a total of 43 bids in just over half an hour. This auction marks the 26th time the City and County of Denver has chosen MuniAuction over the past two decades, in total raising more than $2 billion in funds.

Elevate Denver is a 10-year, $937 million program approved by voters in 2017 to improve the city’s infrastructure and public offerings. Sale proceeds will be used to, among other things, upgrade public transportation, libraries, and city parks throughout Denver’s 78 neighborhoods.
