The San Bernardino County Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector’s (ATC) Office has gone live with TaxSys, Grant Street Group’s cloud-based integrated property tax billing, collection, and distribution system. Modernizing the technology solution for the most critical aspects of the ATC office marks a significant advancement for internal operations and delivery of essential public services for more than two million residents.

With the successful July 2025 launch, San Bernardino County, the nation’s largest county by area and one of the most complex tax jurisdictions, became the third California county to move to TaxSys, underscoring the platform’s ability to support large-scale and dynamic county governments.

The TaxSys go-live brings a host of convenience-driven enhancements for both staff and taxpayers. Residents have access to a user-friendly online portal where they can search and pay bills in English or Spanish from any device. The portal supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other digital wallets and provides real-time digital receipts. It also includes streamlined online forms, making submission and processing faster and more convenient.

County agencies benefit from a secure portal that allows direct charge uploads and offers greater transparency through real-time reporting. TaxSys delivers significant back-office improvements with faster data processing, robust security, and seamless integration with County systems. These advancements overall create a more reliable, efficient, and responsive experience for County staff and taxpayers alike.
