In our second episode of Official Insights: Modernizing Government, we talk with John Ewing, Treasurer for Douglas County, Nebraska. By the time the pandemic began, John and his staff had already moved many services online, easing the inevitable transition away from in-person services due to the pandemic. Even so, John and his staff had to focus on making services faster, safer and more accessible. Utilizing direct feedback from the community, the Treasurer’s office continues to implement efficiencies that align with community members’ wants and needs.
