The Orange County, California Treasurer-Tax Collector’s office has selected Grant Street Group’s DeedAuction® platform to host its new online auction website for sales of tax-defaulted timeshares. Orange County becomes the fourth California county to select DeedAuction since 2013.
Orange County’s Treasurer-Tax Collector will hold its first online auction from January 18-19, 2017 on their new private label website https://octaxauction.mytaxsale.com. 385 tax-defaulted timeshare properties will be offered for sale.
Prospective bidders who wish to participate in the auction are required to register and submit a refundable deposit of $1,000 in order to participate in the bidding process. Deposits will be accepted from December 19 until January 9 at 5:00pm (PST). Deposits will only be accepted by eCheck (electronic ACH Debit).
