November is a busy time for our tax collector clients as the year draws to a close and many payments become due. It’s also a busy time for Grant Street Group’s payment processing app -- PaymentExpress. In November, PaymentExpress had a record month, processing over 450,000 credit card, debit card, and e-check transactions exceeding $1 billion.

Florida’s 4% discount on property tax bills paid by the end of November was a driving force behind the surge in e-payments, with over $900 million in payments coming from Florida taxpayers during the entire month. On November 30th alone, PaymentExpress processed over $125 million in payments.
