Today, Grant Street Group announced that the Charlotte County Tax Collector is now live on TaxSys®, Grant Street Group's state-of-the-art, web-based tax collection and billing system. Charlotte County collects over $292 million in property taxes on more than 234,000 parcels and is the eleventh Florida Tax Collector that has successfully converted to TaxSys since the system was launched in 2006.

We can cashier all our transactions in one spot - our accounting system interfaces with TaxSys, and we have direct interfaces with the State DMV and drivers' license systems. The Charlotte County Tax Collector's conversion to TaxSys began on April 15, 2010 and took five months to complete. This included conversion to Grant Street Group's debit and credit card processing solution, PaymentExpress™, which is also fully integrated with TaxSys.
